Public Relations Coordinator

Our work covers market entry, business setup, talent and immigration support, and business operations for clients moving between the United States, Japan and the wider Asia-Pacific region. We are a small, hands-on team based in Dallas, Texas with an office in Tokyo, Japan, and everyone touches client work from the first month.

About the Role

You will help clients tell their story to media and partners in new markets.

Clients entering a new market need credible voices to introduce them. You will help them build relationships with journalists, associations and local partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft press releases and pitches
  • Maintain media lists
  • Track coverage and report to clients
  • Research outlets and contacts in the United States and Japan
  • Prepare briefing documents, quotes and fact sheets
  • Coordinate interviews, announcements and event coverage
  • Report on media results and recommend next steps
  • Collaborate with clients, designers and other Kaiser teams to deliver consistent work
  • Track results and share clear reports with clients and leadership

Qualifications

  • Experience in PR or communications
  • Strong writing and follow-up
  • Comfortable with deadlines
  • Degree in communications, journalism or a related field preferred
  • 1 or more years in PR, media or communications
  • Excellent writing, editing and follow-up skills
  • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel or onsite work

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time equivalent salary range for this role is $90,000 – $115,000 per year, prorated to the hours you work. As a part-time Kaiser International team member you will receive competitive hourly pay, paid holidays and paid time off prorated to your hours.
