About the Role
You will lead how our overseas clients present their brands to customers in Japan, from naming and messaging to launch campaigns.
You will work with client executives in English and with local agencies and media in Japanese, so you will need to bridge cultures as well as languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop brand positioning and messaging for Japanese audiences
- Plan and manage launch campaigns and budgets
- Brief and manage creative, media and PR agencies
- Conduct consumer and trade research in Japan
- Present strategy and results to client executives
- Mentor marketers and coordinators on the team
- Collaborate with clients, designers and other Kaiser teams to deliver consistent work
- Track results and share clear reports with clients and leadership
Qualifications
- Degree in marketing, business or a related field
- 7 or more years in brand or marketing roles in Japan
- Business-level Japanese and English (JLPT N1 or equivalent preferred)
- Experience launching foreign brands or products in Japan
- Candidates authorized to work in Japan are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional client visits and travel

Compensation and Benefits
As a full-time Kaiser International employee in Japan you will receive:
- Annual base salary of ¥8,000,000 – ¥12,000,000, based on experience and skills
