Senior Strategic Business Consultant (Project Manager)

Current Opportunity:

Kaiser International’s Customer Distribution Experience PMO is currently seeking a Sr. Strategic Business Consultant (Project Manager) to manage and deliver strategic, cross-functional initiatives. You will work across diverse teams to drive successful project execution within scope, budget, and timeline, ensuring impactful outcomes.

This role also acts in a consultative capacity to assess and optimize business processes, systems, and user needs. You will champion agile/SAFe methodologies, promoting flexibility and responsiveness in project delivery. Additionally, you’ll serve as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners and vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of business cases aligned with Kaiser’s strategic objectives
  • Provide both strategic and tactical leadership in process delivery
  • Offer consultative guidance to stakeholders with solution-focused recommendations
  • Conduct business analysis using various methodologies tailored to project needs
  • Create detailed project plans, cost estimates, resource and risk plans
  • Identify project interdependencies and critical paths
  • Proactively identify risks and define mitigation strategies
  • Lead organizational change management activities tied to projects
  • Map current and future-state business processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Drive alignment around a unified “To-Be” vision across the organization
  • Manage project tasks, issue resolution, and ongoing reporting
  • Oversee all project phases, from requirements gathering through UAT and training
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with business and IT partners to refine product backlogs
  • Promote continuous improvement and delivery excellence
  • Coach teams on Agile/SAFe methodology maturity and adoption
  • Provide regular status updates to executive stakeholders
  • Coordinate with vendors to track deliverables and ensure integration success
  • Deliver thought leadership through industry benchmarking and trend analysis
  • Measure post-implementation success metrics and benefits realization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, business transformation, or delivering complex business solutions
  • 5+ years of consultative experience in a project environment

Critical Skills:

  • Proven success managing large, cross-functional initiatives with complex scope
  • Consultative, collaborative leadership with executive-level communication skills
  • Deep experience with Agile/SAFe frameworks
  • Strong financial acumen and business case development skills
  • Demonstrated experience driving organizational change
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and problem solving
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives across geographies and departments
  • Experienced mentor/coach for project teams
  • Proficient in project performance measurement
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with top-tier organizational skills

Preferred Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience with Salesforce projects, chatbots, or AI
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification
  • Data analytics expertise
  • Supply chain domain knowledge (distribution, contact centers, inventory, logistics)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, and project management tools
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or logistics industry preferred
  • Previous experience at Kaiser International LLC a plus

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $107,200 – $178,600
Total compensation package includes annual bonus opportunities and long-term incentives, aligned with experience, location, and performance.
