About the Role
You will shape the written voice of Kaiser and our clients in Japanese, from articles and brochures to website copy and newsletters.
You will edit and write content that sounds natural to Japanese readers and stays accurate to the original message.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit articles, case studies and web pages in Japanese
- Review translations for accuracy, tone and style
- Maintain style guides and glossaries
- Plan content calendars with the marketing team
- Proofread print and digital materials
- Work with designers and translators on deadlines
- Collaborate with clients, designers and other Kaiser teams to deliver consistent work
- Track results and share clear reports with clients and leadership
Qualifications
- Degree in Japanese, journalism, communications or a related field
- 2 or more years in editing, writing or publishing
- Native-level Japanese and good English reading skills
- A portfolio of published work
- Candidates authorized to work in Japan are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional client visits and travel

Compensation and Benefits
As a full-time Kaiser International employee in Japan you will receive:
- Annual base salary of ¥4,500,000 – ¥6,500,000, based on experience and skills
