Compensation: $240,000 – $290,000 per year

Our work covers market entry, business setup, talent and immigration support, and business operations for clients moving between the United States, Japan and the wider Asia-Pacific region. We are a small, hands-on team based in Dallas, Texas with an office in Tokyo, Japan, and everyone touches client work from the first month.

About the Role

You will lead how Kaiser and our clients communicate in public, from press and thought leadership to executive messaging and crisis response.

You will manage a small team and work directly with senior leaders, so you will need sound judgment, strong writing and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the communications strategy and annual plan
  • Oversee press relations, speaking and awards
  • Write and review executive messages and statements
  • Prepare leaders for interviews and presentations
  • Lead the response to sensitive issues
  • Manage agency partners and the communications budget
  • Hire and coach communications team members
  • Collaborate with clients, designers and other Kaiser teams to deliver consistent work
  • Track results and share clear reports with clients and leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required
  • 10 or more years in communications, public relations or journalism
  • Experience advising executives
  • Experience with cross-cultural communication is a plus
  • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel or onsite work

Compensation and Benefits

As a full-time Kaiser International employee you will receive:

  • Base salary range of $240,000 to $290,000 per year, with annual bonus eligibility
