Events Manager (Japan)

Compensation: ¥6,500,000 – ¥9,000,000 per year

About the Role

You will plan and run events in Japan that help overseas companies meet customers, partners and officials.

You will manage the whole process, from concept and budget to onsite delivery and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop event concepts, programs and budgets
  • Select and negotiate with venues, caterers and vendors
  • Manage speakers, interpreters and invitations
  • Lead onsite teams on event days
  • Coordinate with client teams and delegations from overseas
  • Measure results and share lessons learned
  • Keep clients, candidates and guests informed at every step
  • Maintain accurate records and share regular progress updates with the team

Qualifications

  • Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 4 or more years in event or exhibition management in Japan
  • Business-level Japanese and English
  • Experience managing budgets and vendors
  • Candidates authorized to work in Japan are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional client visits and travel

Compensation and Benefits

As a full-time Kaiser International employee in Japan you will receive:

  • Annual base salary of ¥6,500,000 – ¥9,000,000, based on experience and skills
