About the Role
Clients need their message to land in Japan as well as it does at home. You will manage the work of adapting websites, brochures and product materials for Japanese readers.
You will coordinate translators, reviewers and designers to deliver materials that are accurate, natural and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Scope localization projects and prepare estimates
- Manage translators, editors and desktop publishing partners
- Maintain glossaries, style guides and translation memories
- Review samples for accuracy and tone
- Track deadlines and budgets
- Resolve questions between clients and linguists
- Collaborate with clients, designers and other Kaiser teams to deliver consistent work
- Track results and share clear reports with clients and leadership
Qualifications
- Degree in languages, communications or a related field
- 3 or more years in localization or translation project management
- Business-level Japanese and English
- Familiarity with translation management tools
- U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel or onsite work

As a full-time Kaiser International employee you will receive:
- Base salary range of $140,000 to $175,000 per year, with annual bonus eligibility
