About the Role
You will research the licensing and compliance steps clients face when starting operations in the US.
Rules differ by state and industry, and mistakes can be costly. You will turn complex requirements into clear steps clients can follow.
Key Responsibilities
- Research federal and state requirements
- Write short summaries for clients
- Maintain a compliance checklist library
- Research business licenses, permits and registration requirements
- Monitor changes in rules that affect client industries
- Prepare compliance checklists and training notes
- Coordinate with legal counsel on open questions
- Collaborate with clients and Kaiser delivery teams on projects across our five services
- Write clear reports, checklists and presentations for client leaders
Qualifications
- Background in law, policy or business
- Careful, accurate research
- Plain-language writing
- Bachelor degree in law, public policy, business or a related field
- 2 or more years in compliance, research or regulatory work
- Strong research and plain-language writing skills
- U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel or onsite work

Compensation and Benefits
As a full-time Kaiser International employee you will receive:
- Base salary range of $95,000 to $120,000 per year, with annual bonus eligibility
